Welcome to HearFix. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HearFix website, digital forms, communication channels and any related services (“Services”). By accessing or using HearFix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
1. About HearFix
1.1. HearFix (Pty) Ltd (“HearFix”, “we”, “us”) is a South African hearing-care information and referral platform.
1.2. HearFix is not a medical practice, does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment, and does not sell hearing aids directly to the public.
1.3. HearFix connects users with independent, HPCSA-registered hearing-care professionals (“HCPs”) who provide clinical assessments, recommendations and follow-up care
2. Purpose of the Website
2.1. The HearFix website is intended for general information and support.
2.2. Content on the website should not be considered medical advice. All clinical decisions, assessments, recommendations and pricing are determined exclusively by the independent HCPs you are referred to.
2.3. Information on the site may change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, HearFix does not guarantee completeness, timeliness or error-free content.
3. Use of the Services
3.1. You agree to use HearFix only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.
3.2. You must not submit false, misleading or inappropriate information through any HearFix form, call, message or email.
3.3. You must not attempt to interfere with the website’s functionality or security.
4. Referral to Hearing-Care Professionals
4.1. By submitting your information, you consent to HearFix securely sharing your details with an independent, HPCSA-registered HCP for the purpose of scheduling a consultation.
4.2. HearFix does not control or supervise the clinical work of HCPs and is not responsible for their actions, advice, clinical outcomes, appointment decisions or fees.
4.3. Any agreement, appointment, purchase or clinical service is strictly between you and the HCP.
5. No Guarantees or Warranties
5.1. HearFix provides the website and referral service on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
5.2. We do not warrant that:
the website will always be available or error-free
the content is medically complete or clinically appropriate for every individual
a referral will guarantee treatment, hearing aids, improvement or specific outcomes
5.3. Any reliance you place on information from HearFix is at your own discretion and risk.
4. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law:
6.1. HearFix shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or referral service.
6.2. HearFix is not responsible for:
the clinical advice or services of independent HCPs
delays or failures in communication between you and the HCP
any loss, injury, dissatisfaction or disputes relating to clinical outcomes, product purchases or treatment decisions
6.3. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the website is to discontinue use of HearFix.
7. Privacy & POPIA Compliance
7.1. HearFix complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
7.2. Personal information submitted through HearFix is used only to:
contact you,
understand your hearing concerns, and
connect you with an HCP for a consultation.
7.2. Your information is shared only with:
the assigned HCP,
authorised HearFix staff involved in referral coordination.

8. Intellectual Property
8.1. All website content, branding, images, graphics, text and design belong to HearFix or its licensors.
8.2. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute website content without prior written permission.
